火箭输了。比赛看了三节，就没忍心继续看了。名次飕飕地往下掉啊，都第六了。

 

ABC的现场直播MARK JACKSON和JEFF VAN GANDI就MVP炒的不可开交直到人身攻击，还蛮好玩的。中场时放街球王的短片，ALSTON把球拍到防守队员头上还挺逗的。

最近在看一本题目很大的书：HOW TO BE A BILLIONARE. 类似的书大家可能看过，比如HOW TO BE A MILLIONARE.

 

在这里有必要强调一下，虽然只是一个字的差别，但是明显我这本书要屌一些。

谁看了这本书发财了，记得要跟我分钱啊，请客吃个大腕面什么的就好了。我自己看完后最大的感觉是：像我这种超级RISK AVERSE的人，估计是没戏了。

昨天克林顿来我们学校了。我去打篮球了，后来把脚扭了。呜呜呜。

 

去之前就想着可能出现的两个结果：1.大家都去看克林顿了，球场很空；2.克林顿演讲占了一个篮球场，爱打球的孩子们都挤到另一个球场，球场很满。

结果球场很空，打了一晚上很爽。呵呵。最后英勇帅气的盖了某胖子一个大帽，落地时把脚扭了。

 

不知道克林顿平常去其他地方盈利性演讲收费标准是什么样子的，这次为了LD竞选，肯定是抖擞精神为之了。

这次据说人是相当不少，但是安检貌似不怎么严格。除了几个保镖环绕，路上几只警犬，入口一些门卫，也没查包什么的。感觉007上那种特工随便来上一个都能轻松把他灭了。当然首先没人想这么干了，干了那么多人也不太好逃。倒是感觉那些警犬更像在找炸弹什么了。警卫们什么的与其说是在保护克林顿，还不如说是维持秩序并保护公众的安全。

 

克林顿演讲本身，没去现场，不知道细节。校报上应该写了，还没来得及看。听了网上节选的video，觉得现场气氛貌似还行。听声音克林顿中气还挺足的，身体应该不错。但是总感觉少了点什么。可能是激情吧。克林顿早就是老油条了，JJWW或者HLL说的这么多，早就不知道在不同场合说过多少遍了。人跟人归根到底是利益关系，政治说道底也只是灌输一个意思形态。政治斗争是意思形态之争，但更是利益之争。政治家竞选公职的时候说的是一套，当权之后做的绝对是另一套。每个人都是做当时的情势下对自己最有利的事情，做能MAXIMIZE自己UTILITY FUNCTION的事情。

政治家也是人，也有私心。我从来不相信什么经营领导，只相信权利导致腐败，绝对的权利导致绝对的腐败。这些个人在这里竞选，归根到底都是为了自己。这本身绝对无可厚非。人区别于其他生物，就在于能够在理性指导下ACTION。每个ACTION都有CONSEQUENCE，都有OPPURTUNITY COST。不同的人面对相同的情况，会有不同的判断。在价值SCALE上，有人把看克林顿排在其他事情之前，就去看克林顿了；我把打篮球排在其他事情之前，就去打篮球了。

 

我还是想啰嗦一下，为了追星去看克林顿，那是没问题。我自己还准备这周日去听OBAMA（我是觉得这人演讲值得听，据说很有煽动性；感觉有点像超男）呢。不过千万不要指望他的政见是什么真知灼见。这帮政界大鳄早就是庞大政治机器上的一个组件了，他的一言一行背后有多少是自己的想法自己真正的BELIEF，有多少是为了迎合选民，有多少是背后利益集团的观点，根本说不清楚。政治家更在意的是国家前途，还是自己的仕途；更在意的是广大选民的利益，还是自己的利益，我反正不知道。

 

引用一下Mohandas Gandhi版的七宗罪：Wealth without work; pleasure without conscience; science without humanity; knowledge without character; politics without principle; commerce without morality and worship without sacrifice。下面这句话不仅仅适用于政治家，而适用于每个人：The responsibility rests with the individual, but that includes the duty to take care of others as well as your own soul.

LOS ANGELES -- It's hard to pick one play to summarize an evening that brought references to everything from Easter to "Star Wars," that featured appearances by both Nellie and Nelly, a game in which the Warriors put up the most points scored against the Los Angeles Lakers in a half this season, then threatened to break the mark for the fewest points scored against them in a quarter.

But if one play typified what makes the Golden State Warriors a threat to any opponent -- as well as themselves -- it was Stephen Jackson's 3-pointer that provided the final margin in the Warriors' wild 115-111 victory over the Lakers on Sunday.

The Warriors scored 72 points in the first half and led by 26 early in the third quarter, but the Lakers came all the way back and briefly took the lead with 5:07 left in the game. Surprisingly, for such a helter-skelter team with no low-post presence, the Warriors were in their element. They're now 10-2 in games decided by three points or fewer.

Up by a point in the final 30 seconds, the 24-second clock still in play, what did the Warriors do? Jackson launched a 26-foot, 3-pointer that hit nothing but net.

Seriously. That's what they did when the conventional wisdom called for them to protect the lead, run down the clock and get a good shot.

Poor Derek Fisher. He thought about the normal way, so he played off Jackson, hedging toward Monta Ellis and Kelenna Azubuike on the wing. He was in no position to close out on Jackson when Baron Davis passed him the ball and Jackson cast away.

"Your natural instinct is not to just run past a guy that far from the basket at that time," Fisher said. "You don't want to give up an easy drive to the basket."

Even Jackson admitted the usual play would not be to take such a low-percentage shot for coach Don Nelson's team.

"But after watching us all year, you should expect that we're going to do the opposite of the norm, you know what I mean?" Jackson said. "That's how we play, that's our team, that's what we're built on. Just making up our own stuff. You know Nellie, he does everything that you don't expect him to do."

This is exactly what makes the Warriors so dangerous. They go southpaw when you expect them to hit you with a right. As Lakers coach Phil Jackson said, "They're an out-of-balance ballclub."

Of course, it's just as difficult for their own coach to figure out what his team will do next. After scoring 38 points in the second quarter, the Warriors managed only 15 in the third.

"Don't ask the coach," Nelson said. "I have no clue. Sometimes the Force is with you, sometimes it isn't. Throughout the game, the Force can change sides. Which it did tonight."

The thing is, in a seven-game series, teams can focus in on the Warriors, get a feel for them, start to expect the unconventional. And if these two teams should meet in the playoffs, the Lakers plan to have Pau Gasol (expected to return Wednesday) and Andrew Bynum, who both missed Sunday's game with injuries. Bynum has yet to begin practice.

But even if the Lakers had their big men, they'd still have to show discipline on offense, and "right now we're not patient enough to do that," Fisher said.

They also have to shore up their defense. Before the game, Jackson said, "We're still a ways away from really putting in the kind of effort and the consistency that we have to have on some of our screen-roll defense. We have to get there."

They got there in the second half, when they denied at the basket better and deflected Warriors passes. Coach Jackson wondered if giving the players the morning off to observe the Easter holiday affected their mind-set at the start of the game, when the defense was nonexistent.

But at the end, the players committed to protecting the paint ... and it cost them. So the Warriors celebrated a victory on the Lakers' floor, and Stephen Jackson ran over to chest-bump the rapper Nelly at his courtside seat.

The Warriors pulled within a half game of seventh-place Dallas in the Western Conference playoff standings, and the Mavericks will have to play without Dirk Nowitzki for a stretch. But Golden State still has to worry about Denver, which is just a game and a half out of the final playoff spot.

Even if Sunday was the only time you had seen the Warriors, you'd recognize that they won't take the easy path. But you know they'll always be a threat, no matter where they might be.

最近发现点击率一直上不去，觉得可能是本博客题目太超前，不能为同时代大多数人理解的缘故。

 

我费劲心思更新一次博客，却往往被朋友笑谈为又发骚了。真是让人哭笑不得啼笑皆非。

 

其实世人看到骚想到的，往往并非本人当初建博设想的范畴。那是两年前的暑假了，正是翻看《离骚》的当口。趋于对屈原的推崇，对迁客骚人的尊重，对独领风骚的向往，斗胆起了“骚”这个颇付争议的题目。

 

事物发展之客观过程，往往是无序趋向有序，混沌回归大同为一个阶段；打破秩序挑战传统为另一个阶段。在这样的螺旋往复中，人们对客观世界的认识不断进步，世界因为人们的改造也趋于完善。

 

我突破传统的第一次尝试算是失败了，于是回归自然暂时像传统屈服。在一个旧的轮回蛰伏发展突破后，必将站在更高一点开始新一轮的螺旋上升。

 

这个新题目源自海明威的名言：优于别人不是高贵，优于过去的自己才是真正的高贵。

 

本想起名叫“优于高贵”的，后来怕太屌不能引起读者共鸣，就流俗了一把叫“超越自我”了。世人对高贵的理解往往拘泥于物质层面，我反正觉得这是个精神层面词，是描述ETHICS或是灵魂的一个词。这也是我为什么高度喜欢海明威这个名言的原因了。

 

分享一下对超越自我的一些想法了：

1. 多看别人的优点，多看自己的缺点。

 

2. 不要懒惰，不要自满。有了过去的自己作比较，就能稳定的一步步前进了。一向不喜欢用横向比较来激励自己，主要是因为这样基本上刺激不到自信到近乎自大的我了，还因为太多edgy的人在横向比较这一思想控制下做了太多edgy的事。

 

3. 看经济书的时候知道了DEBT是CAPITAL一个重要来源了，合理运用好处多多。但是美国经济现在衰退一个重要原因就是DEBT太过，CREDIT被dilute到没什么价值了。背后的教训是：SOMETIMES, WE HAVE TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING. 对我自己来说，兴趣广泛是一件很好的事情。但每天的时间视乎都被各种各样习惯去做当时喜欢去做的事情占据了，真正工作学习的时间少的可怜。PLAY HARD没有问题，但是只有同时WORK HARD才真正有意义。

今天没什么事。就说说前天AI回归费城和昨天celtics搞定小牛吧。

 

赛前媒体就把气氛渲染的不错。76er最近很火，基本确保了季后赛位置。掘金继续不稳定的表现，164分灭supersonics貌似荡气回肠；120好几输pistons也没什么脾气。总之在竞争激烈的西部，命运已经不在自己手中了。

 

我差点一时冲动去看这场比赛了。后来觉得太贵开车太累，就放弃了。下次再fan AI了。

 

开赛前气氛是相当热烈，在费城奉献10载青春的AI交易后首次回归受到球迷们疯狂掌声的鼓励。AI也emotional的亲吻了76er场地中间的队徽。

 

比赛开始了。大家马上拼地刺刀见红，虽然有球迷为AI的表现鼓掌，但更多球迷把鼓励给了现役76人队员。AI自己进攻端的表现没什么好说的，但是也确实让Andre Miller和Green得了不少分。Anthony倒是被Dalunbell（？）盖帽搞的没什么脾气。最后一分钟比赛分出了胜负。一个幸运的空配把nuggets逼上了绝路，AI中投不进没能继续全场的神奇表现，Camby补篮不进也彻底葬送了扳平的希望。主场球迷陷入欢乐的海洋。AI在镜头下面无表情的走进了球员更衣室通道。他是想把失利丢到脑后投入下一场比赛，还是继续难以平复的心情，还是感受老东家成功新东家失败的讽刺？

 

要走了，短短说一句：小牛老板库班正在抓狂吧。拿青春赌明天看来是赌输了。呵呵。

Consider a village in which most people build their houses and shops out of solid lumber, building a house which is no bigger than what can be built with the lumber at hand. But one guy builds a house which is far bigger and taller than all the other houses, which he accomplishes by splitting all his lumber lengthwise, then splitting it again (using a mechanical process he called "leverage"), until he's built a skyscraper out of nothing but toothpicks. For a while he looks like the richest and smartest man in the village. People line up at his door to rent apartments and shops in his tower, and they apply for jobs at businesses in the tower, and they build their houses close to the tower. But when a strong wind comes up, the tower starts to topple. The tower builder has a private chat with the mayor, and the mayor announces: "This tower is too big to fall, and too many people will be negatively affected by its collapse. This way the hardship will distributed equitably and there will be no catastrophic collapse."

Observe the effects which result from this:

1) Everyone's house is now unstable, even the solid ones which were built by prudent people.

2) A tower built out of toothpicks can never be fixed by propping it up willy-nilly with more toothpicks. It will remain fragile until it finally collapses under its own weight, or is burned down in the war (see below).

3) No one will bother building solid houses or acquiring or saving lumber for a house any more, because why bother when the mayor will confiscate it for his buddies? They will throw up their hands and wait for the mayor to provide them with Lumber Relief.

4) The mayor will blame the resulting lumber shortage on the people in the next village, and will whip up his people to get them to attack the other village (it so happens that the village with the tower is named "Oosa" and the village with the wood is called "Opek"). Chaos and bloodshed result, two entire villages go up in smoke, and for another generation there is no wood to be had for buildings.

电视上正在直播国米和利物浦第二阶段的比赛，但是总比分0：3落后的并少一人应战的国米早就没有任何希望了。赛前本来还有一丝希望，想着国米本赛季意甲顺风顺水，阵容空前强大；想着上世纪60年代国米曾经主场3：0搞定利物浦；想着伊布拉的神奇和克鲁斯的高效。随着比赛开始后时间的流逝，才发现希望从指间一点点过。首先是久疏战阵的维埃拉表现极其迟缓，失误连连；伊布拉继续华而不实并心浮气躁，脚后跟传球失误，任意球连连打飞；好不容易灵光一现妙传克鲁斯却被后者失之毫厘。最可怕的却是国米整个球队的精神面貌，完全没有众志成城背水一战的气势。球员们各自为战，错失机会后又相互指责。面对铁板一块的利物浦，国米队员不停努力的只是在向裁判抱怨。唯一的闪光点只有克鲁斯的禁区外冷射和上半场结束前的脚后跟巧射，结果却被利物浦门将一一化解。看着国米队长萨内蒂一次次从后场独立冲击，心里面不是在感叹他的努力，而是感叹为什么其他队员没有这么努力。

 

在足球如此商业化的今天，各个俱乐部的运作就像一个个巨大的机器。这些机器的目标就是在球场上战胜对手，赢得球迷赢得赞助商赢得电视转播赢得最大利润。比赛直接的结果是由场上22名队员决定的。背后的教练和俱乐部老板却往往起着最决定的作用。国米老板莫拉蒂是一个大球迷，却绝对是管理球队的白痴。成功的管理模式绝对是老板出资金，管理好竞技之外的一切因素。目的是让球员只用操心在训练场在球场的努力，不用担心球场外一切媒体一切商业一切跟竞技无关的干扰。球队的运行则应该绝对交给专家管理，general manager和主教练不就是用来干这个的么。莫拉蒂偏偏不明白这个道理，凡事总是横插一手，往往让事情变得更糟糕。用人凭感情，唯亲不唯贤，也是大忌。肥罗，雷科巴都是明证。有人说国米是巨星黑洞，我说国米是雇佣军团。这个莫拉蒂就是所有国米球迷伤心难过的罪魁祸首。主教练曼奇尼为人，优柔寡断，工于心计却缺乏手腕，自身能力不足却擅长找客观原因。临场指挥乏善可陈，完全不是贝尼特斯等战术大师对手。一手好牌打成这样，真不如找块豆腐撞死算了。有人同情他在教练位子殚精竭虑早生花发，偶以为他是勾心斗角拉帮结派罪有应得。

比赛正式结束了，圣西罗球场成为利物浦球迷欢乐的海洋。他们齐整的歌声足以冲破利物浦阴霾的天空，更不惧在千里之外的米兰宣泄快乐。英格兰球迷确实值得高兴，八强席位占了四强，冠军几成囊中之物。还记得02年AC米兰冠军联赛决赛会师尤文，简直是所有意甲球迷的节日。今年这样的快乐只能属于英格兰球迷了。

罗马做掉皇马固然让人欣喜，但是指望一个上赛季还被曼联7球羞辱的球队，一个在意甲都难称霸的球队撑起意甲的大旗，显然不太现实。更何况被做掉的皇马近年来早就没有了欧洲冠军的荣光，只能在漫长的联赛中等待对手（主要是巴萨）self destruction式的大牌不和防线犯错或是其他形式的自我爆炸。等待罗马的是如狼似虎的英超四强：杯赛专家利物浦，防守专家切尔西，朝气枪手阿森纳，英超霸主曼联。罗马对上述球队胜率均不超过40%。正如伊布拉，托蒂从来就没有在重大赛事上证明过自己。罗马还是担心能不能在联赛保住第二比较现实。

 

AC米兰去年夺冠的场景还历历在目，今年的老迈却举步维艰。国米继续着不稳定的传统和精神脆弱的标签。不由得有些怀念尤文。虽然从来不是尤文的球迷，但是尤文精神还是让人起敬。一年升级一年打回冠军杯，没有多少人能想到尤文这么快就回来了。在欧洲赛场重振意甲大旗，还是要靠米兰和尤文啊。

 

用经济理论生硬套用一下足球圈。英超是最国际化的联赛，没有几个本土老板。阿森纳这种球队甚至没有几个本土球员。虽然对国家队不利，但是对俱乐部模式，显然是自由度高市场化高的英超战胜了regulation多市场不流通的西甲意甲。呵呵。欢迎拍砖啊。
